The Infant Social and Communication Behavior Scales (ISCBS) is the first comprehensive and normed assessment of communication for infants 2-12 months. The Training Module walks you through the administration of the ISCBS Play Sample Protocol. Short video clips of a sample administration demonstrate each of the items on the ISCBS and provide guidance on delivering the temptations. Use this tool to advance your clinical assessment and intervention and to hone in on key communication skills during this important period in a child's development.
After you have learned to administer the ISCBS Play Protocol, the Scoring Module teaches you how to code the ISCBS Behavior Sample Scoring Worksheet. The Scoring Module explains the scoring process, section by section, offering tips and reminders as well as video clips of a sample administration. The Scoring Module also includes two comprehensive scoring tests in which you code the ISCBS Behavior Sample Scoring Worksheet on your own. Once you achieve a reliability score of 80% or higher on this assessment, you are ready to begin using the ISCBS within your own practice!
